After 10 successful years as one of the
South Coast's leading conference facilities, Chilworth Manor is now
taking another step forward in bringing business to the area. Alder
Hospitality Management, hotel and conference specialists, has recently
acquired the facility from the University of Southampton and has some
exciting plans for the future. The traditional Manor House has played
host to weddings, conferences and dinner dances, but with the new
Directors the facilities will now be developed to provide wet and dry
leisure facilities and a better mix of rooms for guests. The new owners
will continue to run Chilworth Manor as a conference centre and will
develop the business as a flagship property.
The success of Chilworth
Manor has been mainly down to its team of experienced staff who have
excelled themselves as much with the traditional standards of
hospitality as with the requirements of modern technology. The Manor's
new Director and General Manager, Gavin Elliott, said, "We are extremely
pleased to have moved into Chilworth Manor as it will open up a wealth
of new opportunities and bring even more business into the area." With
the new leisure facilities we are planning, we hope more people will see
the Manor as an ideal place to hold their business meetings."
