Chairman of
Southampton Science Park, Dr Kenneth Dibben, has retired after 17 successful years of steering the Park to its current position.
Dr Dibben has played a key role in the development of the Chilworth estate as a director of both Chilworth Manor Ltd and
Southampton Science Park Ltd, and as chairman of the Science Park since 1993.
With an impressive career in accountancy, banking and commerce, Dr Dibben has provided invaluable advice on the financial side of the company and his adeptness has made him an essential part of
Southampton Science Park.
Dr Dibben was instrumental in returning the Science Park back to Southampton University's 100% ownership in 1996.
Taking over from Dr Dibben as Chairman will be Jeremy Pope, who is Deputy Chairman of South West of England Regional Development Agency, and Board Member of Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole Learning and Skills Council.
