Park-based OrthoView now has its digital planning
and templating solution installed at over seventy
sites in the UK.
A number of sites
within every cluster of the NHS 'Connecting for
Health' programme now use OrthoView software, either
deployed as an integrated element in the PACS
(Picture Archiving & Communication System)
installation, or by means of a dedicated OrthoView
Server that allows access via a web browser.
As more and more
hospitals become 'filmless' OrthoView is fast
establishing itself as the "product of choice" for
surgeons in both the NHS and private sector. Most
recent installations include Good Hope Hospital
Sutton, West Suffolk Hospital, Lancashire Teaching
Hospitals, Northwick Park Hospital,
Mid-Staffordshire General Hospitals NHS Trust and
the University Hospital of North Tees.
As an orthopaedic
digital planning solution, OrthoView offers
pre-operative planning and templating for all joint
replacement surgery, as well as a specialist set of
tools for paediatric assessment. Intuitive to use,
it offers surgeons access to the largest library of
digital templates available.
John Chambers, CEO of
OrthoView says, "From its very inception in 2002,
OrthoView was developed in conjunction with the
orthopaedic community. We knew what orthopaedic
surgeons wanted and we set out to meet those
requirements; our rapid growth is more than proof of
just how successful we have been. Our sales team is
now being expanded to meet the anticipated demand
and as a company we are very confident about the
future."
In addition to the
UK, OrthoView is now installed through Europe,
Canada, Australia, the Far East and North America.
It is the most widely used planning and templating
solution in the world.
