Swedish Biomimetics 3000® AB, Stockholm, Sweden, was formed in 2004. SB3000® AB takes inspiration from nature (biomimetics) for sources of new patentable intellectual property, which can be developed into radical, disruptive technologies with commercially viable industrial applications. In 2007, SB3000® AB formed a fully owned UK subsidiary, Swedish Biomimetics 3000® Ltd, to invest into the development and commercialization of two biomimetically inspired platform technologies, µLOT® and µMIST®.
