Getting Set for Growth
Southampton Science Park is delighted to have been chosen by Get Set for Growth as its home for the Solent region. This new South Coast base joins six other regional hubs to create a nationwide presence that will benefit small to medium sized enterprises with the ambition and potential to grow.
GetSet Solent is a fully funded business support programme delivering specialist access to finance, business and marketing support. The service is available to SMEs across the Solent region. The programme focuses on helping businesses overcome the two biggest barriers to growth – generating sufficient profitable customers and accessing finance. The GetSet advisors provide ambitious businesses with engaging workshops, informative meet the expert events, 1:1 sessions and support.
In addition, they provide support to access the GetSet Solent Grant Programme. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund, grants of up to £25,000 will be available to all eligible small and medium businesses across the Solent region to enable them to invest in their future growth, boost the economy and provide more jobs to the area.

We are excited to be located at the heart of the region at the Southampton Science Park with its great facilities and access.”

Across the UK, GetSet has supported over 7,000 businesses, which collectively turnover £2bn, have created more than 3,000 jobs and have raised over £70m in growth finance.
