The NHS is a large, complex and ever-changing set of organisations which buy and sell services from each other. Without understanding how the money flows, innovators risk focusing in the wrong area.
This free workshop gives an overview of how the NHS works as a market place, and is aimed at innovators from commercial, academic or clinical backgrounds.
Delegates will learn about the statutory NHS bodies and budgets and will practice building a value proposition which is effective for NHS buyers, users and providers.
Co-Hosted by Southampton Science Park and Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) and presented by Dr Frank Ratcliff of Wessex AHSN, the Understanding the NHS as a Marketplace event is a free event for innovators and SMEs to come and learn about the local healthcare environment, ask some questions and talk to like-minded people who are trying to access the healthcare market.
We have 11 meeting rooms all of which can be configured in a number of different ways to cater for your meeting or event. Please use the two links below to book a meeting room either as a tenant or a visitor to the University of Southampton Science Park
