Expanding Kaleido Software

A leading US company has chosen Southampton Science Park for its first overseas office, moving into the Innovation Centre, Venture Road.

Kaleido Software, headquartered in North Carolina, was created by established technology leaders and early pioneers in the blockchain space and is already working with global leaders in multiple industries, including BP, Citibank, PepsiCo, Sony, T-Mobile and WWF.

The company is reinventing how enterprise-level ecosystems transact, share data, and collaborate, recognising that existing computing platforms were not built for the unique needs of multi-party collaboration. It’s Web3 blockchain platform combines the dramatic simplicity of SaaS with the performance, security, global reach and cloud scale of enterprise-grade solutions.

Jordan Humber, Director, UK R&D is heading up the new office. He said: “It’s a big step for any organisation to set up a satellite base and this move was no exception, but Southampton Science Park’s broad spectrum entrepreneurial community was a clear choice for us.”

He continued: “While we operate a hybrid working pattern, we recognise the need to support our growing team of software engineers by providing a ‘work home’ for them to come together and collaborate, and also opportunities for social and business interactions. Southampton Science Park offers all of this, and I speak for the whole UK team when I say we’re delighted to be here.”
