Getting back on track

Southampton Science Park CEO Robin Chave joined fellow leaders across the region yesterday for a virtual roundtable discussion organised, and soon to be published by, The Business magazine.

The thought-provoking debate, entitled Getting Back on Track – What Business Lessons Can We Learn from The Lockdown, covered topics including how businesses have adapted to the COVID-19 situation, and what the future of office working might look like. Key findings from the event will be published online at businessmag.co.uk shortly.

Robin Chave commented: “I’ve been heartened by the extremely positive response to the COVID-19 pandemic by so many of the businesses based here at Southampton Science Park. Their creativity, resilience, operational and financial management, as well as their sound business judgement, are being tested to the full and I am confident that our community of innovators will continue to go from strength to strength.

That’s why I was delighted to be asked to participate in this roundtable event: I hope that sharing some general learnings from our residents’ experiences – and indeed our own as a successful property business – will help boost the region’s capabilities at this challenging time.”
