Powering Innovation in the South

Southampton Science Park is delighted to be helping shape the south’s innovation ecosystem once more as a partner for Venturefest South 2025.

Venturefest South is a not-for-profit, partner-led initiative that connects investors and support organisations with the Central South’s most promising and innovative businesses. The region’s flagship innovation showcase since 2017, the initiative has helped boost thousands of entrepreneurial journeys, brought together investors and business leaders, and created a powerful platform for collaboration.

This year’s Venturefest South Festival of Innovation will take place at the Utilita Bowl on Wednesday 12 November.

Alongside inspiring talks, workshops, rumble events and networking, this event will feature a number of innovation focus areas with eight cluster areas: the blue economy (marine and maritime), creative industries, life sciences, bio films, defence security and space, sustainability, gaming and one for standout innovations that can’t be pigeonholed!  

Innovators working in these areas are strongly encouraged to get in touch as soon as possible to discuss involvement in the #VFS25 Innovator Showcase.

Residents and other companies associated with Southampton Science Park are often stand-outs in the Innovator Showcase, in particular those that have participated in the Science Park’s Catalyst business accelerator. For the last three consecutive years, a Catalyst participant has scooped an award there:  Labl.it in 2022, BirthGlide in 2023, and mytender.io in 2024.
