Lifelight Hailed as Gamechanger

Lifelight - Southampton Science Park resident, and graduate of its Catalyst business accelerator programme - has been hailed ‘Gamechanger of the Year’ at the Central South Business Awards.

These annual awards, in association with Business South and Platinum Media Group, acknowledge those businesses and individuals that have gone above and beyond, achieving great results, inspiring others and demonstrating best practice.

The Gamechanger of the Year award specifically recognises a business that has brought significant and positive change to their industry by disrupting the way things are done. The winner is deemed to have spurred a shift in the status quo and demonstrated significant change in how their sector operates through innovation in product, services or operations.

Lifelight is doing just this with its motivation to save lives by turning every device on the planet, whether smartphone or tablet, into a self-monitoring healthcare platform. Lifelight was developed by Xim Ltd, a digital health technology company with a track record spanning 15 years in research excellence, having been funded by the European Union and UK government bodies in numerous collaborative projects with partners across Europe.
