Spectrum IT Recruitment Helps Empower Women in Tech
Women in Tech Hampshire (WiTH) has won the Best Diversity Network at the 2025 SheCanCode Power Up Awards. The award is not only a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the network’s organisers, but of the entire community and inspiring speakers who contribute energy, expertise, and encouragement to it.
Women in Tech Hampshire was founded by Amy Lee and Lauren James of Spectrum IT Recruitment, inspired by their shared passion for empowering women in technology and creating a safe space where everyone can feel supported and inspired to achieve their potential. In just over a year, it has become a thriving network of over 1,000 professionals who are passionate about enhancing diversity in tech. The next Women in Tech Hampshire event, The Female Founders’ Experience, is on 8th October.
Amy commented, “I’m beyond proud of all the WiTH community has accomplished and truly honoured to receive the Best Diversity Network award”. Lauren added, “I am so thankful to be receiving this award. We created the group to help give back to the community, and it’s amazing to see all our hard work recognised.”
Spectrum IT Recruitment, a long-term resident at Southampton Science Park, is a proud partner of Women in Tech Hampshire, supporting the group’s vision to drive positive change in the tech industry.

The Power Up Awards were established to identify and spotlight women in tech who are accomplishing remarkable feats, offering them a platform for the industry to acknowledge and celebrate their achievements.
